Did a tour with Alex P., he was a fantastic guide! Super knowledgeable and easy to talk to, he was very helpful on finding spots and food/drinks that were a good fit for our diverse group. Gave lots of recommendations on other spots and foods to try throughout Barcelona. The tour was a nice break from the heart of the city and showed us lots of local spots, was a perfect complement to our trip! Would highly recommend.

Alex was our tour guide and he was amazing! It felt like we were going out for the day with a close friend. He’s so funny and easy to talk to. He did a great job of taking us to a variety of places and showing us local businesses that we would have never known to go to on our own. Definitely show up hungry for this tour because you will eat and drink a lot! I loved everything we had and we even went back to some of these places for a second meal before we left Barcelona. They took a lot of care to build out a plan based on our group’s taste and varying levels of adventure. He challenged us with foods we had never had before but also balanced it with things that would be familiar and easy to try. I would definitely do a food tour with Alex again!

I took my mom on the trip of her dreams to travel to Spain. I let Alex know months in advance. They responded timely to every email, which I loved. I can not say how grateful I am for this outstanding beautiful excursion. It was everything I hoped for. When you travel to another country you are always nervous thinking is this excursion going to meet your expectations? I can honestly say they surpassed my expectations. It is worth every penny. Alex was warm, inviting and very knowledgeable. The trip to see Lourdes with her delicious cheeses was fantastic. Maria at her olive vineyard was amazing. The restaurant in this little village felt like I was in a movie. I would give this excursion 10 stars if I could. You will not be disappointed. It was the best part of our trip. We got to see the real Barcelona, not just the city. Thank you Alex (both of them) for making this so memorable. I can't say enough good things. Thank you. Thank you.

My family and I did this tour today and had absolutely the best experience! We have done a few this week and this is by far the best one! Alex Pamies, our host and tour guide was amazing and made the experience a must do! If I could give a 10 rating I would! Thanks Alex for everything!!!

We had a fun, informative, food and drink evening with Alex. Places we would otherwise never have noticed or walked in to. Highlight was the canned oysters over chips at the local Vermuteria: looks gross - tastes great.

This was such an amazing private food tour. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and informative and just super nice and fun. I learned (and drank and ate) a lot and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Barcelona’s delicious and unique food scene!

By far our best experience in Barcelona was the Food Tour by Alex, and Aborigens! First of all, Alex followed our wishes to try everything, and took us to markets, special shops,, restaurants, and pop up food trailers to give us a taste of the variety and opulence of the Catalan food and drink! We even went to a shop entirely based on ham and pork, with huge ham hocks arranged on big skewers to shave off the slivers and taste! Alex was incredibly well versed in Barcelona lore, and is a relaxed guide, listening to your tastes for guidance. He helped us with some ideas for reservations, and we tried them to great success! He also introduced us to La Pedrera, where we watched a rooftop performance of jazz and flamenco, with the building the fanciful Gaudi designed. You can do no wrong to trust your food discoveries of Barcelona to Alex, and Aborigens.
