Barcelona Private Tours

My tour to two Cistercian monasteries was a real pleasure with Mo. He was knowledgeable, well-traveled and interesting in his own right. Because the tour was private, I could linger when I wanted instead of being rushed, which was a special priviledge for a Medieval history enthsiast. I also really enjoyed the scenic drive outside Barcelona on what was a glorious day.

Mo, you were fabulous from the moment you picked us up at 9AM until you dropped us off at 7 PM. Driving up and down those twisting, winding narrow roads to our destinations; the knowledge you shared with us; the meal we shareded... We loved every moment! I hired a private guide to take me to Poblet Monastery & Tarragona 1 day & to Montserrat Monastery the next day. The guide picked me up & returned me to my accommodation in Barcelona both days. All tickets at the sites were included in the price. Mo, my guide, could not have been any more accommodating or charming during the 20 hours that we spent driving and touring. We saw everything that I’d hoped to see and another that I didn’t know about, but really enjoyed. The days were long, because of the driving time to the sites, but relaxed; like hanging out with an old friend who was keen to show you around his hometown. As a woman travelling alone, it was great to have a guide who was so sensitive to my interests and needs. I had a great time and can’t thank you enough for looking after me. Thanks heaps!
