We had a very good experience working with Girona Homes (probably one of the few agencies that worked with people from other countries who had no Spanish ID at the time of renting), and also an agency where we found English-speaking employees, which was very important at the time of renting for us. Also Girona Homes has some amazing looking properties, a bit on the pricey side though, but still only very beautiful apartments & houses. The only think I’d suggest for improvement would be to keep in touch more with the tenants with the questions that may appear during the rental - I’ve been in the situation where I received some papers (bills & co) in the mail for which I had some questions and I didn’t get a reply on the WhatsApp chat I had with the agency. In the end I could solve most of the stuff that was not clear with the help of my local and Catalan-speaking friends, but seeing that in theory the relationship is tenant - agency only (no tenant - landlord), I would have appreciated some help with stuff that appear later in the tenancy (in the same manner as we were very professionally helped at the beginning of the contract).

Sophie was extremely helpful throughout the process, definitely one of the best experiences dealing with a real estate agent in my life (and I've moved a lot).

Sophie sold our home in Girona and was excellent from the first visit through to completion. The promotional photos and video were first class and our buyer, a US couple living in the Netherlands, were a remote buyer and it was clear the 360 degree videos had secured the sale. Issues arose after the sale was agreed with a discrepancy on the land registry of our plot and Sophie went above and beyond to get it resolved and keep the sale on track. We would recommend Sophie and her team to anyone in Girona. Her multi lingual skills particularly helpful for an international transaction like ours.
